Shotgun Babies were born in 2007. Nowadays the line-up is composed by Cristina (guitars&vocals), Gianna (bass & backing vocals) and Luca (drums). In their performances Shotgun Babies highlight groove, vocal impact, eclecticism, their sound takes its form from a grunge background and it evolves in psychedelic alternative shapes, sweet, but full of rage, with dark obsessive atmospheres.

Live

They proudly play their own songs and in a few time they've collected about one hundred gigs, performing also with important italian and international underground bands and artists: Giorgio Canali, Tides From Nebula, Assalti Frontali, Santo Niente, La Fame di Camilla, Pierpaolo Capovilla. They played on very different stages: pubs, theatres, squares, castles. They performed for Notte Bianca in Lecce, for Medimex Mei in Bari and they were guests of Go Down Records Festival, organized by the same label

Labels

In april 2009 the american label 272 Records (Club Fiend agency, Hollywood) wanted them to take part to “Riot On Sunset Vol. 16” compilation, diffused to 25 U.S.A. college radio stations (in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York City and surrounding areas) and sold in the hottest rock shops in Hollywood. In october 2009 Shotgun Babies got signed to the underground label M. A. Productions (Rome), that presents their CD, "Symbiotic Trip", during events in Italy and in some foreign countries (Germany, Norway, Greece, Tunisia...)

Radios

Their songs were on air on USA university stations and on different radios all over Italy.

Press, TV & Websites

They appeared on national press, local TV channels and websites: they were selected by the italian magazine "What's up"; "Red Memories" music video was presented during the news of the local Channel 8; they were the subject of a literary experiment; many local newspapers wrote about them. They were on UNOTV homepage. They appear in the book "Rock Girls", by Jessica Dainese (Alias, Rolling Stone), among the italian most influential contemporary female bands.

Music videos

Out Cinema produced "Paralyze", their first music video. 
In 2010 ACMElab produced Red Memories video.
In 2013 Carlo Mazzotta produces e-wave video, the first single from the new album "Private Games", featuring François R. Cambuzat (L'Enfance Rouge, Putan Club, Lydia Lunch, ...)

Projects

They create "Girls On The Rock" project, to help apulian female bands and artists to play on their geographical area. In 2010 they became member of the italian female rock movement "Rock With Mascara".

Collaborations

Always believing in feminine creations, they are testimonial of "Killing Capera" clothes. They also play for the local writer Loredana De Vitis, during the reading of her book "Storie d'amore inventato".
